As a scholar, and a faculty member at Hunter College (Department of Romance languages) and at the Graduate Center of the CUNY (Program in Comparative literature) I have always relied on the NYPL (especially the Research Branch) as the primary venue for my research work. I have MaRLI privileges, and they have been of invaluable importance.
